Join Montclair Recreation Wrestling and HackNCraftNJ for the Great Montclair Marshmallow Blast Off

Saturday March 19th is NJ Makers Day!

​As a part of the celebration, the Montclair Rec Wrestlers and HackNCraftNJ invite you to join us on the lawn of the United Way building (60 S Fullerton, next to the library) to make and customize your own marshmallow blaster and then engage your friends in battle at 1:00 PM! For the small donation of $10 each (all proceeds go to the Montclair Rec Wrestling Club Association) you will get all you need to make your shooter and a cup of ammo (marshmallows).

Assembly is required, but it's easy, and we'll show you how to do it.

When you're done, you'll be able show your friends how to make one also for continued fun and marshmallow messes the rest of the Spring!

Details
  • Sales and construction of your Marshmallow Blaster begins Saturday March 19th at 11:30 AM on the front lawn of the United Way building (60 S. Fullerton Ave, Montclair). The United Way is next door to the Montclair Public Library (also a sponsor of NJ Makers Day).
  • The BIG Marshmallow Blaster Battle begins at 1:00 PM on the front lawn of the United Way (weather permitting).
  • The number of available Marshmallow Shooters is limited to 100. First come, first serve.
  • Donation for the Marshmallow Blaster is $10 per set, including a cup of marshmallows.
  • Additional pieces of PVC may be purchased if you wish to customize your Marshmallow Shooter. Each additional piece is a $1 donation (all pieces same price). We will also have tape and sharpies to decorate your blaster. Make it your own!
  • In case of rain, we will set up the construction and sales tables in the Lower Level of the United Way building next door to the HackNCraftNJ Lab. Follow the signs please.
  • Donations support the Montclair Rec Wrestlers and its Booster Club. Parents and wrestlers will be there to assist you with the construction of your Marshmallow Blaster.
